Your Possum Play Couch is delivered in a box that is 31cm x 31cm x 91cm (yep! We fit a whole couch in there!), and weighs 14kgs.
Materials & Safety
Possum Play Couches are made of the most durable and safe materials on the market.
- CertiPUR-US® certified foam. Our foam is made without ozone depleters, PBDEs, TDCPP or TCEP (”Tris”) flame retardants, mercury, lead, and other heavy metals
- STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified, brushed microsuede covers. We love microsuede because it is super durable (stain resistant, machine washable, shrink-resistant) whilst also being super soft and smooth against the skin
- YKK® Zippers. All our zippers come with rounded heads and fabric 'zipper garages' to prevent scratches and snags
Possum Play Couches are recommended for use by children aged 36+ months and adult supervision for safe play is recommended.
Equal vs Regular Bases
Equal Sized Thick Bases might be best for you if you're likely to use The Possum for:
- Movie nights & sleepovers (because the bases lay flat next to eachother)
- Extra sturdy builds
- Separated into 2 equal sized armchairs
- Laid out as a mat for playtime
- Avoiding sibling squabbles with the same sized pieces
- You like the look of the 2 bases being the same size!
Regular Sized Bases might be best for you if you're likely to use The Possum for:
- Greater variety in builds
- A softer top for snuggling into in couch mode
- Smaller children will find the thinner base easier to lift and build with

What comes in the box?

The play couch base cushions attach to each other so you can flip, fold, stack and scale The Possum however you want to arrange it. We compress them all together, vacuum seal, and deliver right to your door.
How much does shipping cost?
The Possum Play Couch ships for FREE to UK mainland addresses.
Shipping to Northern Ireland is £20 for Regular Bases and £30 for Equal Bases. Shipping discounts apply if purchased with other items.
Are the covers washable?
You bet they are! Trust us, this was close to design-criteria Number 1! Pop them in your machine on a cold wash with a colour-safe detergent and gentle cycle, and then line dry (no tumble-drying) to avoid shrinkage.
How big is the box the Possum arrives in?
This is the fun part! We know you don't want a huge box arriving at your doorstep, so your Possum Play Couch will come vacuum rolled and compressed into a very manageable box (35cm x 35cm x 90cm), and weighs 14kgs. We use the highest quality dense foam and have put it through rigorous testing to make sure it bounces back into shape with no damage after compression! You've got some seriously fun unboxing infront of you watching The Possum emerge from its box!
