Description

The Tunnels & Shields set is the ultimate cubby level-up, multiplying the fun when you use it in conjunction with your other Possum Play pieces, or serving up a world of imaginative play all on its own.

Each set comes with 2 square bases sewn together with built in tunnels. Remove the shield doors to create doorways to worlds of imaginative play beyond!

Like all Possum Play pieces the Tunnels & Shields are incredibly versatile. As well as making a great addition to cubby builds, the Tunnels are a dream for obstacle-courses, peek-a-boo play, and setting up movie-night loungers.

The Shields are the perfect size to hoisted and wielded by little hands, and a perfectly placed handle makes for easy gripping.

What's Included

Each Tunnels & Shields Set includes
- 2x Square Tunnel cushions, sewn together
- 2x Shields
- Machine washable covers

Dimensions

The Tunnels cushion measures 168cm (W) x 84cm (H) x 12.5cm (D). It is the same length/width as the Possum Play Couch.

Each Shield measures 53cm (H) x 42cm (W) x 12.5cm (D)

Materials

Possum Play Couches are made of the most durable and safe materials on the market.

- CertiPUR-US® certified foam. Our foam is made without ozone depleters, PBDEs, TDCPP or TCEP (”Tris”) flame retardants, mercury, lead, and other heavy metals

- STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified, brushed microsuede covers. We love microsuede because it is super durable (stain resistant, machine washable, shrink-resistant) whilst also being super soft and smooth against the skin

- YKK Zippers. All our zippers come with rounded heads and fabric 'zipper garages' to prevent scratches and snags

We thought we’d maxed out what the Possum Play Couch could do — then we added the Tunnel & Shields. Game. Changer. Suddenly, every build is more exciting, more sturdy, and way more fun. The tunnel is perfect for crawling and hide-and-seek, while the shields turn into doors, ramps, walls, or even a drawbridge. Our daughter’s imagination has exploded with new possibilities, we can recommend it to anyone

So much fun

It’s perfect for crawling through, climbing over, and even imaginative play like pretending it’s a secret hideout. It’s a bit of an investment, but for the quality and the endless hours of creative play it encourages, it’s definitely worth it!

Super sturdy and so much fun!

Really impressed with the quality – firm, supportive, and they hold their shape beautifully (no sagging or slipping during play). Our 5yo and 2yo have been obsessed — crawling through the tunnel, climbing over the shields, and turning them into all kinds of builds with their Possum Play Couch. I’ve even found myself using one as a backrest while hanging out in the playroom. Great addition to our setup!
